Twilight's Robert Pattinson Might Be Secretly Engaged

File this one under: Taken with a grain of salt. Allie is Wired has reported this morning (or confirmed, as they claim) that Twilight star Robert Pattinson is not dating Kristen Stewart at all. In fact, he's secretly engaged to another lady entirely!Here's what the source told Allie: "They’ve had an on and off relationship that became more “on” and serious over the past year. He’s been afraid for her safety, which is why every single person who works with him has to sign these detailed confidentiality agreements agreeing to never talk about his personal life, and his handlers and him have gone to extreme lengths to make sure they’re never seen together, and every time they are together it is set up in such great detail that you’d think it was the secret service and he was the President." Supposedly Pattinson proposed to his secret love on her birthday recently.
What? Are you shaking your head in disbelief, too? It's hard to imagine this being true, if only because secrets so rarely remain under wraps no matter what kind of confidentiality agreements exist. If it were true, then someone, somewhere has had to have seen him and his "fiance" together at some point. This isn't a rant that Pattinson is off the market, because if he ever did find someone he loved and wanted to marry then good for him, but it's just a bit too suspicious to be believed at this point.
On the other hand, can you imagine if it were true? How hard would that be to Pattinson's fiance and not be able to tell anyone or fear for your life because he is so adored by millions of women?
What do you think: True or false here?
Update: Looks like Allie is Wired has decided to take down the original post. It must have been because of Pattinson's confidentiality clauses, right?

I'm just sitting here shaking my head. We need to use common sense here people. If Rob were secretly engaged, with all the sightings of Rob and others such as Kristen, Nikki Reed, the list goes on, SOMEBODY would have seen him with whomever the lucky lady is. And you notice this new claim doesn't say whether the woman is a celebrity or non celebrity either.
I sure hope it's not true. Not that I don't want him to find love and happiness, I do, eventually. But IMO he's too young to get married. I am in between relationships right now. And I don't think I've met the love of my life, but when I do, I am not going to get married to them for a good long while until I am sure. The divorce rate is too high and I want to be married for a lot of years, if not life.
Nah this whole thing sounds like another story someone made up for attention but then again you never know, it might be true.
However most celebs when they become engaged and that is a serious thing as we know, they don't try and hide it.
The reason given is because Rob is afraid for her. Well my answer to that is why did he get involved with her in the first place, knowing how his life is?
That makes me think that the person would have to be a non-celeb then, which is odd. He said he would rather be involved with someone in the business. I just think that any female celebrity could take care of herself knowing the business and how the paps are and that.
But then again this is a rumor and there is no proof. I'm sort of laughing and still shaking my head though. All these sources that claim he and Kristen are so involved. Yeah, who and what to believe?
